Groupe Adonis Inc. is recalling Montana brand frozen strawberries because they may permit the growth of Hepatitis A. They are sold exclusively from Adonis markets in Ontario and Quebec. To get up-to-date information about the recall, visit the CFIA website.

If you purchased this product

If you find any of the affected products, throw them out or return them to the store. Food contaminated with Hepatitis A may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.

Symptoms of Hepatitis A infection

Symptoms can include:

  • Fever
  • Malaise
  • Abdominal discomfort
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Vomit (followed by jaundice)
